Thank you. I find myself doing the same thing. I've never played a multi-fandom RP before and I'm being introduced to so many interesting characters! I noticed that most people were writing in first as well, but I'll probably flip back and forth, depending on the scenario. I felt better handling emotions in the third person. Poor thing is already emo, I don't want him to sound like a 12 year old girl. :p
I have to admit, I'm probably almost as wary of his interactions with other characters as he is, because of his physical appearance. He's been lucky so far in that he hasn't interacted with any of the characters running around doing everyone, but that will be an interesting subject to broach if and when. ;)
But anyway, listen to me ramble! You can find a short blurb on Gren here. I'm rather enjoying yours as well. I've never heard of the Kushiel's Dart books, but now I feel like I need to read them.
